The FHO+ Hourly Calculator is designed with a privacy-first, local-only architecture.

• On-Device Storage: All time-tracking data, session notes, and calculations are stored exclusively on your device's internal, encrypted storage.
• No Cloud Servers: Dr. Manu Kaushik / Morriston Medical Centre does not operate a back-end server or cloud database for this app. We cannot see, access, or recover your data.

2. PHIPA Compliance & PHI Minimization

• Non-Custodial Status: Because the app does not transmit or store data on external servers, Dr. Manu Kaushik / Morriston Medical Centre is not a "Health Information Custodian" or "Service Provider" as defined by PHIPA with respect to this app.
• Best Practices: We strongly recommend that users do not enter Patient Names or Health Card Numbers (HCNs) into the "Notes" field. Use initials or internal EMR chart numbers only.
• Zero Access: Dr. Manu Kaushik / Morriston Medical Centre does not monitor your logs or patient identifiers.

3. Data Backups & Portability

The app provides manual features to export and backup your data:

• User-Initiated Backups: You may export your data via the iOS "Files" interface. You choose the destination (e.g., iCloud or local storage). Once exported, the data is protected by the security measures of your chosen provider.
• Export to CSV: You can export logs for billing or accounting purposes. This data is handled by your device's default mail client (e.g., Outlook, Gmail).
• User Responsibility: Once data is exported from the app, it is the user's responsibility to ensure the transmission is secure (e.g., using encrypted email) in accordance with clinic protocols.

4. Third-Party Services & Analytics

• No Tracking: We do not use cookies, identifiers for advertisers (IDFAs), or third-party analytics to track your behavior.
• No Advertising: This app is ad-free and does not share data with any third-party marketing firms.

5. Permissions

The app requests minimal permissions to function:

• Storage/Files: To save and export your CSV logs and backup files.
• Internet Access: Strictly to facilitate the "Email Support" or "Export" functions via your system's mail handler.
